BreatheWorks provides speech, TMJ, and oromyofunctional therapy in Portland, OR, serving adults and children across North Portland and the broader metro. You’ll find us near the North Lombard Transit Center with easy access from I-5 and multiple TriMet routes. We accept most major plans (incl. Aetna, Regence BCBS, Moda, Providence, PacificSource, CareOregon, Medicare, United, and more), and offer both in-person and telehealth visits so you can start sleeping, breathing, talking, eating—and feeling—better.

Corinne Jarvis, M.S., CEO
Founder | Speech-Language Pathologist
Corinne Jarvis, M.S., is the Founder and CEO of BreatheWorks and a Speech-Language Pathologist with a clinical focus on oropharyngeal dysfunction, oromyofunctional disorders, TMD, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), mouth breathing, and EDS. She works with patients across the lifespan, from infants through geriatrics, and is deeply passionate about expanding access to care through a whole-patient approach. Corinne is driven by complex, hard-to-solve problems and is committed to building world-class care teams that deliver thoughtful, interdisciplinary treatment.
Corinne earned her B.S. in Communication Disorders and Sciences and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Portland State University in 2005. She has advanced training in oromyofunctional disorders, TMD, OSA, mouth breathing, and EDS. Her background includes private practice in New York City and Oregon, fellowship training at The Hearing and Speech Institute, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team. She is affiliated with ASHA, IAOM, AAPMD, and The Breathe Institute.
As the founder of BreatheWorks, Corinne is passionate about leading the field in whole-patient care, teaching and learning alongside her team, and expanding access to high-quality services. She takes pride in creating strong clinical teams and advancing care models that support better outcomes for the patients and families BreatheWorks serves.
Outside of work, Corinne enjoys paddle boarding, biking around Portland, spending time with her husband and three children, and playing with her dog.
Sierra Corbin, M.S.Ed., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sierra Corbin, M.S.Ed., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease, voice and upper airway disorders, and gender-affirming communication for both adults and children. She also has experience in aphasia, dysarthria, cognitive-communication disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including speech-generating devices. Her clinical interests include working with individuals with voice disorders, parkinsonism, ALS, stroke, and head and neck cancer.
Sierra earned her B.A. in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon and her M.S.Ed. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska.
She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in Oregon.
She has completed advanced training in the McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP), Walt Fritz Manual Therapy for Voice and Swallowing, Phonation Resistance Training Exercises, and is a SPEAK OUT! certified provider. Sierra has also received the ASHA ACE Award during every certification cycle, serves as a continuing education instructor for speechtherapypd, and has presented professionally on topics related to Parkinson’s disease, stroke rehabilitation, choir participation, and vocal health.
Her clinical background includes work in skilled nursing, outpatient practice, adult medical speech-language pathology, clinical supervision, and leadership. She has served as a business owner, clinical supervisor, and mentor to graduate students, interns, and clinical fellows. Sierra uses an evidence-based, patient- and family-centered approach that integrates research, clinical expertise, and patient preferences. She is committed to helping each person feel safe, heard, and supported, while using shared decision-making to focus on goals that are most meaningful in everyday life.
Outside of work, Sierra enjoys spending time with her toddler, watching movies, exploring restaurants, dancing tango, traveling, enjoying outdoor activities, and eating chocolate.
Sophia Martinez, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sophia Martinez, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience supporting children and adolescents and clinical training with adults in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), cognitive-communication, voice, and acquired language disorders. Her areas of focus include speech sound disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, social communication needs, and AAC assessment and intervention.
Sophia studied at the University of Oregon and California State University, Northridge.
She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and is licensed in Oregon.
Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based intervention and meaningful family collaboration. Sophia develops individualized, strengths-based treatment plans that honor each client’s unique communication profile and goals. She is committed to creating a therapeutic environment built on trust, rapport, and safety so clients feel comfortable, confident, and supported as they build communication skills.
Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time along the Oregon coast, baking sweet treats, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.
Ruth Daley, M.A., CF-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow
Ruth Daley, M.A., CF-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow who focuses on voice and upper airway disorders, with particular interest in gender-affirming communication and singing voice health, as well as articulation. She works with patients seeking support for voice, resonance, airway, and communication needs, and is passionate about helping each person build confidence, function, and quality of life through individualized, supportive care.
Ruth earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University in 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music.
She holds Oregon conditional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and is a member of ASHA Special Interest Group 3 (SIG 3).
Her background includes experience supporting patients with complex care coordination needs, including assistance with applications and authorizations related to disability, FMLA, workers’ compensation, private insurance, and Department of Labor claims through her work with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She has also been recognized with an award for caregiver integrity and contributed to the implementation of manikin simulation training for flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy. Ruth brings an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to care and is especially committed to affirming, functional services tailored to each individual’s goals.
Outside of work, Ruth brings a strong appreciation for music and vocal performance to her clinical practice.
